Steps away
Costa Rei Beach
A short walk from Naim brings you to a stretch of stunning white sand and calm, clear water, where fish drift close to shore. Sunbathe, swim, watch the sunrise or sunset, and take a slow stroll past the odd beach bar along the way.
Costa Rei Village
Wander a few minutes from Naim and you’re in the heart of it — a small, quiet village where the same faces greet you each morning. As evening comes, the streets fill with the smell of grilled fish, fresh pasta and wood-fired pizza drifting from family-run trattorias. By day, everything you need is close at hand too — small supermarkets and a café or two — or talk to us at Naim about organising a packed lunch for your day out.
A short drive
Capo Ferrato
A rocky promontory marking the northern edge of the bay, with a lighthouse walk and sweeping views back over the coastline at sunset.
Villasimius
A lively seaside town at the tip of the Capo Carbonara peninsula, with a string of postcard beaches, boat trips out to the marine reserve, and a good choice of restaurants and shops for an easy day trip.
Castiadas
Quieter and wilder, with the beaches of Cala Pira and Piscina Rei backed by juniper and granite. The old penal colony, now a small museum, is worth the detour.

An inland town known for its citrus orchards and the springtime Sagra degli Agrumi festival, plus the wide, quiet sands of San Giovanni beach nearby.
Sette Fratelli
A mountain nature reserve of holm oak forest and granite peaks, home to Sardinia’s deer population — trails for walking range from easy to demanding.
Cagliari
Sardinia’s capital, with a hilltop old town, archaeological museum, and the island’s main airport — worth a day trip even outside arrival or departure.
